Mailchimp Authentication
« on: September 23, 2016, 05:01:44 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I finally got a custom domain, and am trying to set up my new email within mailchimp.

Unfortunately, mailchimps authentication email does not show up (been trying since yesterday). My email was purchased through wordpress when I got my new domain, but I access it through google+.

Is this a google+ issue? Or a mailchimp? I've been receiving test emails from other sources just fine (there is nothing in spam). I can't even send an email to mailchimp tech support since I'm not a paying member? Was hoping to just add a txt to my wordpress dns, but I believe it needs authenticated first?

Sorry, having a clueless Friday.

Hi, I only just found this in a search and I'm curious as to whether you were able to solve this problem.

I'm researching mailchimp, authentification, wordpress custom domains and domain emailing, and I am just thoroughly confused by it all.

Was it easy to purchase email through wordpress, and did it involve a monthly payment, or upgrading to a wordpress premium account?
