In this blog post from terribleminds, Chuck Windig has an excellent perspective on negative reviews.

Good advice!

By the way, on that page I saw once again my favorite book cover ever:

I have a pen name that earns about $1000 a month.  It attracts a lot of morons - and you have no idea how tempting it is for me to put the boot in.   I don't mind a bit of troll hunting.  I think I'll toss a coin.

Lol Cherise, I don't know exactly why, but your Dog Aliens cover/titles remind me of Baby Geniuses lol.

It's quite the adorable mashup

Good advice.  My worst review came from a guy who routinely reads books in my genre, and routinely gives them a two star review with the same two word critique in every one.  At least if I don't care for something, I learn to avoid it.

there will be people out there who will not like what you write, but at least that tells you your book is getting out there. Just ignore them and move on, probably don't even read them, but I know its too tempting to read a one star review. Nothing in this world is perfect, otherwise it will not be real.
