Could the Google+ Secret Santa bring you more sales?
« on: December 07, 2014, 03:59:26 AM »
This is the second year I've participated in the "Secret Santa" on Google+ (which uses Amazon wish lists). At least one of the books on my wish list (The United States of Vinland by Colin Taber) was added after I saw it mentioned here on KBoards. Seeing that book as I was skimming over my own wish list got me to thinking about how adding even more indie books to my wish list could be a "win" all around via the Secret Santa exchange, if it introduces those books to new people, generates more sales, and (of course) helps me get a book I've seen mentioned here and wanted but haven't bought yet.

If I can set aside some time for it, I'm going to browse around here for some more books from KBoards authors that I want and add them to my wish list. Can't hurt! I'd be interested to know if anyone else does this specifically to help boost visibility (and potential sales) of fellow KBoards authors.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, see http://gplussanta.com/ and/or https://plus.google.com/+Gplussanta/posts  :D
