Mass logging-out?
« on: January 29, 2017, 09:00:05 AM »
Late last night and today I have observed on three different devices that I was mysteriously logged out of KBoards. I was able to log back in easily each time, so it was really a big deal. But I am curious what happened. Did this happen to anyone else? Or it's conceivable that the technical wizards running the site might be interested if they don't know about it.

I also have mine set to stay logged in forever, should have mentioned. The first when I noticed I thought was a fluke, but now with three different devices I had to login.  Solvable problem, but it made me curious.

hmmm . . . .weird . . . . . no one else has reported it . . . so I'm guessing a glitch maybe connected to your ISP? Or an update of your browser?

I updated to iOS 10.2.1 (or something like that) a few days ago. If no other reports, must just be something peculiar to me!

If for some reason that cleared your "cookies", it could cause that to happen...though it would probably also show up on any other sites that you have a long-term login on (if any?).

No problems with any other sites. I blame web ghosts. Or maybe Tim Cook (leader of Apple).

Not sure if this is related, but I have found that if I log out on one device, I'll be logged out on all devices.  The reverse isn't true.  If I log in on one device, I'm not automatically logged in on all others which is a good thing so no complaint on that side of things.
