Kindle Voyage Review/Question
« on: October 01, 2015, 01:02:33 AM »
I'm new, so please be patient as I learn the ropes. Always open to constructive criticism if I misstep.

I believe that this Kindle Voyage is my fifth Kindle.

What's to like: smaller, lighter, better light, easier page turning

What's confusing: everyone says the battery life is excellent on the Voyage, but I'm not seeing that. The battery life is something less than my last Paperwhite, even if I leave the WiFi in the off position.

I have maybe a hundred books on this Voyage, and they've been there for a good month now, so indexing shouldn't be an issue -- or should it?

Anybody else having this issue? Any thoughts, or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to KBoards!  I would probably call CS to see what they think.  They will walk you through some checks, but if you have already done those checks, they will most likely offer a replacement.  Battery should be longer than your older PW.

Also, here in KBoards, do a search for Voyage battery - there may be some posts in Let's Talk Kindle that will offer insight.

Enjoy your Voyage!

Thank you, Brownskins.  I'll have to gird my loins to get in touch with CS.
