Kindle Fire for Kids
« on: December 28, 2016, 05:31:50 PM »
Santa brought a 7in Kindle Fire for each of my two kids. They were the first Kindles in our house.

I had trouble setting them up. I set up the first one with parental controls. But some how it seemed to think it was my table with my son as a secondary user. Every time it times out, I had to enter my password to get him back on.  It would let me set a password for him, and I selected that option for his profile to show up. The 2nd tablet didn't give me any problems at all.

I ended up buying a 3rd tablet and gave that one to me. I factory reset my son's tablet. Then I set this new one up for me, and then when I went to set up his tablet it worked just like it did for my daughter.

Did I need 3 tablets all along or am I missing something?

I don't use Kindle for Kids so I don't KNOW for sure but ... maybe it needed you to set up the adult (responsible) portion of Kindles for Kids first?
