AMS ADs billing incorrect
« on: February 14, 2017, 08:52:04 PM »
From AMS ads:

"Billing statements for U.S. campaigns that ran between 1/31/17 to 2/14/17 may be inaccurate. Reporting data found in the UI is correct and no information has been lost. All billing statements will be updated once the issue is resolved. We are working to address this as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience."

Anybody know what "UI" is?

UI is pretty standard computer-people speak for User Interface.

Thanks! (Now if I only knew what that meant in context of AMS ads... Sounds like they are blaming me for using something of theirs wrong...)

That message is showing for me too, not only you, so you didn't do anything wrong  ;)

I'm pretty sure the UI ('User Interface' as LSMay noted, not Doglover's one, although that may be why the data's having issues, lol) is what we first see when we login to AMS. The billing statements are probably the data found by clicking the 'Billing History' link in the upper-right menu (which seems to be higher than what the actual amount should be).

Meanwhile, mine has taken two weeks to climb from 5 cents to 49 cents, which I usually rack up in a few minutes.

You know, I'm beginning to think somebody over there doesn't know what he's doing...  ::)

Last month my "Spent" column was less than what they were actually charging my credit card (as stated in the "Billing History" tab).

This month (right now) it's the opposite, the "Spent" column says I spent more than what the Billing History tab says my credit card is being charged.

I am guessing this is the same for a lot of people using AMS. I got the same message today when I logged in. My bills are fairly negligible so I am not too concerned for myself, but I guess people who shell out a big sum for the service could end up with a bigger bill than anticipated.
