Product Description

All three parts of the epic masterpiece combined in one definitive edition of the text.

Sauron, the Dark Lord, has gathered to him all the Rings of Power - the means by which he intends to rule Middle-earth. All he lacks in his plans for dominion is the One Ring - the ring that rules them all - which has fallen into the hands of the hobbit, Bilbo Baggins. In a sleepy village in the Shire, young Frodo Baggins finds himself faced with an immense task, as the Ring is entrusted to his care. He must leave his home and make a perilous journey across the realms of Middle-earth to the Crack of Doom, deep inside the territories of the Dark Lord. There he must destroy the Ring forever and foil the Dark Lord in his evil purpose. Since it was first published in 1954, The Lord of the Rings has been a book people have treasured. Steeped in unrivalled magic and otherworldliness, its sweeping fantasy has touched the hearts of young and old alike.

Please rub his ears and give him top-of-the-head kisses for me. :D

I'd say switch to a cat but as mine is currently sprawled across my PC keyboard, that might not help.

Love it!

Enjoy the peace - I recently acquired a similar writing partner and his most significant contributions so far have been to make me so sleep deprived I can barely string a sentence together and try to chew the laptop cord.

I only have a few weeks of this, thankfully, but I am in awe of any parent with young children who manages to run the house / get themselves to work / otherwise generally function let alone do any writing!!

LOL. I know what you mean.  We've had our little man about five weeks now so the house training is done thankfully. But he loves chewing on everything and has "toys" everywhere.  We keep saying its like having toddlers in the house again but we wouldn't be without him  :-*.

My writing partner has a tendency to walk off with my keyboard.

In order to practise their touch typing skills no doubt  :P

I've got five mini partners like that ATM. 5 weeks old and mamma doesn't much watch after them anymore except to relieve the pressure in her teats. Lucky I finished my wip but they are delaying me from doing anything else! I hat to put them in an exercise pen because I can't  keep them in the whelping box even with the door closed-- they just came over it to find me. Luckily the older dachshunds are content as lapdogs and are just happy to be somewhat near me!

OMG five dach puppies - so cute! Our Lewy is a dach x labrador mix from a litter of eight.  Not sure how daddy dach managed it but hats off to him  :P.

I hear ya. My new summer intern is not pulling her weight either. And wants to start work WAY too early in the morning.

There are people on the TV riding bikes! No wonder he's all tuckered out. That would exhaust me as well.
