Product Description
Where is Adam?

Julie Raynes’ husband has been missing for six months. Devastated and confused, she refuses to believe that he would leave her voluntarily, though her best friend thinks differently. However, her Aunt Alice, a psychic, tells her Adam has been murdered, and when she reveals how she knows this, any hope that Adam is still alive, dissipates.

The police are also beginning to believe that Adam Raynes was murdered. And Julie is their prime suspect. Her life in ruins, Julie vows to hunt down whoever is responsible for Adam’s murder and make them pay for their crime.

In the meantime, David Gray, a young man who was pulled from a lake by a fisherman when he was 9 years old, wakens from a coma after nearly two decades. Unknown to Julie, Adam and David share a dark connection, a darkness that threatens to devour both of them, in a terrifying race with death.

Mark, thanks again for pushing this project forward. It really makes a big difference not only to Mac users, but also to any publisher who wants to store and analyze sensitive data locally, instead of in the cloud.

For authors and small publishers who are Mac-based, the $75 Kickstarter pledge is a fantastic option to get a powerful tool to help track royalties ... all you need to do for the most popular platforms (KDP, Smashwords, Apple, Createspace etc.) is upload their reports (usually in Excel or CSV format) and Trackerbox does the rest when it comes to tracking the data and providing some nice reporting functions. I use it to track royalties for all of my authors of IN 30 MINUTES guides.

Also, Mark, while I know it's a bit early to be asking for new features, I can't help myself :)

* One that would be very useful is a comparative reporting tool that shows gains/losses in currency or percentage from the previous period.
* Any other chart options besides line charts.

Thanks, and good luck crossing the finish line!

Thanks Ian!

I have recently recognized the need for comparative reporting, but I was thinking only of year over year. I hadn't thought of other periods of time, so thanks for mentioning this. Also, you are not alone in wishing for something other than line graphs, so I'll be doing something with that in the future, too. I "might" do them at the same time as the Mac version, or I might wait to add them to both versions after the Mac version has caught up. I'll have to see how things go, I think, before committing to "when". Still, they're on my Trello board.

I'll give this one another mention on some author lists.

Yay for more reporting features. I'd love to be able to see easily in a table or graph how much I've sold on each vendor or in each country/currency or of each series.

I have over 30 titles and the bars graphs are just useless to me because the bars are so tiny and you can't read any of them.

But let's get this puppy funded first.

Glad to see this is nearly funded. I'd just like to chime in to say Mark has always been really responsive when I've had questions about the Windows version.

I pay out royalties biannually on July 1 and January 1, and sometimes I like to compare month-on-month gains or losses, so having those options would be cool. Thanks!

This is just awesome, Patty! Thanks a lot!

Here's the latest update, too! It's now got less than $1000 to go before it get's funded! Again, thanks to everyone who says nice things, talks about it, and backs it. The biggest reason I'm running the TrackerBox Mac Kickstarter is because I'm tired of telling people I can't help them, and it's absolutely amazing to hear when TrackerBox helps people.

Does it track earnings, not just sales? And can you see earnings by book across vendors?

It does. You can make the reports as wide or granular as you want. I would like this feature to be a little bit more pretty, but all the data is there and you can pull it out.

Picked up the "I have Windows" option. I've been meaning to check it out, and don't mind supporting my fellow dev! Good luck on the rest of the Kickstarter!

Every month I just plug all my reports into it and forget them until I need them again. It's great.

I'd never heard of Trackerbox until this thread but it sounds pretty cool and if both Mark Dawson and Patty Jansen think it's useful, then I'll support and definitely get it when a Mac version is available. ...I'm a newb, but hopefully I'll eventually have enough sales to need it. 😏

Too many to quote directly, but I just want to say thanks to Luke Everhart, Mark Dawson, C. Gockel, and Adair Hart! I went away to get some work done, came back, and it's already past $7k!

Every backer will get a chance to beta test! I intend to do a release as soon as it can import data and you can view it in at least one report, and then I'll do additional releases as features get added.

I can't thank you all enough. Without the KBoards crew, I don't think the project would have reached the goal. I hesitate to say "funded", because there are still nine days left, and several places online quote a 10% cancellation rate on pledges through Kickstarter, but I'm so excited it reached this point. I get to say "YES!"

Here's today's update on the subject of "what's next", plus an additional "Thank You" or two.

Mark,

I don't know if you know the answer to this question OR have already answered it someplace else...

Here goes:

What versions of Mac OS X will the Trackerbox Mac you create likely run on?

I don't know the exact answer yet, but I think it will be a somewhat wide range (if I can possibly make it so). My current Mac is a 2008 Macbook Pro running 10.11.6 (El Capitan?), and I can't update it to the latest version of the OS. Some of the KS funds are going to go toward getting a Mac Mini so I can test on the latest OS, but I'm going to make sure it runs on El Capitan, too. So, anything in between those should work. Anything earlier, I will endeavor to make work, but I won't have the hardware here to verify it. I don't think I'm going to do anything crazy as far as coding goes, but Apple does like to change and break things.

This is amazing news. I've been waiting patiently for a Mac version. And I'm glad it appears you've surpassed the funding goal. Congrats!

I just funded for $75, and I can't wait until February. Thanks, Mark!

Thank you for starting this!
