It has been a long while since I posted here, but I do have a question. I use my Paperwhite all the time and would like to have a 'classy' cover for it. I see the Benuo leather cover on Amazon which looks very nice, but I see comments about the magnet on the strap closure causing problems with the unit not turning off when the cover is closed or turning the unit back on if it has been manually turned off. I also see in a couple of comments that the issue has been remedied in newer versions of the case. Has anyone had experience with this brand/case?
Arrived and it looks good! The plastic shell that the Kindle sets in is virtually identical to the one in the Amazon cover, and holds the Kindle tightly. The manual off button, charge port, and charge status light are all easily accessible. My concern about the magnetic closure seems to be unnecessary. It has worked perfectly for the past two days. The leather is nicely stitched, and the inside is nicely sueded, so it should protect the screen surface from scratches.
