Linkage problem
« on: April 30, 2018, 03:44:35 AM »
Hello all,

This is a first posting from a Newbie to the Forum.

I have an elderly Kindle device (Version 4.1.3) that I cannot link with a newly downloaded icon for my laptop (Windows 10). That itself is working as just last week I bought an ebook which is there as it should be. The Kindle device itself has books on it which can be read in the normal way. The connection to the laptop does work when I plug in but not with the new on-screen icon display.  I also use Calibre which links well with the old Kindle. It seems to me that there should be a Kindle list or folder  in my laptop but there isn't (Probably lost or something over the years). Is it possible to create one that will make the missing connection?

Sadly, problems  with my eyesight and other difficulties make reading the traditional book a problem and I think an e book with its way of enlarging the print size may be the  answer.

Thanks in anticipation of some clever prson out there know what to do.
