Bookbub alternatives for the UK market
« on: June 13, 2018, 08:05:56 AM »
Bookbub is top dog for International as well as US book promotion, but from looking around I get the impression most of the others - Book Gorilla, etc - have a very strong US focus; or at least, I haven't seen anything that suggests they send out UK-centric deals emails for Kindle owners in the UK the way Bookbub does.

Most of my sales are in the UK, and Bookbub is hard to get into, so I just wondered if anyone here with strong UK sales had any luck with book promotion services that a/cater for a UK audience and b/actually get results, assuming such a thing exists?

I use Facebook ads, Bookbub CPC ads targeted at the UK, and AMS UK.

Also yWriter novel writing software & SalesScanner, a free KDP/Google/Smashwords/Createspace sales analyser for PC. (Mac soon)

There's Book Hippo, which is based in the UK.
I did give FB ads a quick spin but I have also found interacting with people in a relevant FB group seems to be giving me a boost.
