Book Klub with Boyd Morrison: Which novel should we discuss?
« on: March 30, 2009, 12:36:01 PM »
I've been asked to lead a book klub discussion, which I'd love to do. Since I have three books out, I thought I'd get an idea from people about which book they'd like to discuss with me, The Ark, The Palmyra Impact, or The Adamas Blueprint.

Please chime in if you'd like to participate and give me your vote on which book we should discuss.

Thanks,
Boyd

I would be happy with any of the three.
I went to Amazon and read the synopsis of each and they all sound exciting.
So let the majority choose and I will go along.

I would like to read either The Ark or The Palmyra Impact.  I am reading The Adamas Blueprint now and I would like to do a book klub with a book I hadn't read before.

I have read all three now but would be interested in the discussions folks had on them. So I am up for any of them. The Ark could create some rather interesting discussions.

I have also read all three and haven't been involved in a Book Klub before.  Any one of them would be worth re-reading and discussing with Boyd and everyone else.

I have them all but haven't started any of them yet (The Ark was on deck but I'll wait now  :D), so I'm open to whichever!

I think any three would be great. I've read The Ark so far and I'm about 1/4 the way through The Palmyra Impact. BTW...left you a review for The Ark :-))

The synopsis I read on all three books made me want to buy all three immediately!!  Doesn't matter which book we start with unless there is some
sequence to the books.  When will the fun begin???

Thanks, Chynared21, for the wonderful Amazon review! And thanks to everyone for reading my books. I've been overwhelmed by the response I've gotten from the members of Kindleboards.

Let's read The Ark. I think it offers some interesting discussion topics. The book is 73 chapters, including the prologue. How should we break up the weekly reading schedule?

I should find out by the end of the week when the Book Klub will start. I'm looking forward to it!

Cheers,
Boyd

Anytime Boyd!

I found early on during the Outlander discussions that I'm not very good with book klubs  ;) but I'll pop in from time to time because I really enjoyed the subject matter. As I've said in my review...you had me googling  :P

Boyd,
This will be my first, so I have no thoughts on the amount of reading.
I have read Jeff Hepple's book in less than a week.
So whatever pace you want.

I have "The Ark" purchased and loaded on my Kindle.  I am really looking forward to the book klub.  Here is a link to make it easy for those that haven't gotten the book yet.

I've read the Adamas Blueprint and am partway through The Ark.  I suspect I'll be reading your third book shortly.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we've decided to start the Book Klub for The Ark on May 1. An official announcement will be coming out soon, including a date for a Tea With The Author chat.

I hope you can join me!

Thanks,
Boyd

Definitely looking forward to it.
I have all three books, so we could start and keep going as far as I am concerned.

I've never been involved with a Book Klub before, like many on here. This sounds like fun. I have been planning on reading these 3 books anyway, so looks like it is time to buy "The Ark" and start with that one. :)

Just finished The Adamas Blueprint and really enjoyed it.  Haven't been involved with a book club before.  Since I have already purchased all three, due to the wonderful recommendations, it looks like I will be joining everyone reading The Ark.
