Straightening out my schedule for the summer. Book early to secure a spot!

I've got a couple of spots for March, and a ton of space in April. PM me!

Now scheduling for July-August-September for novels and series. Projects MUST be booked in advance. I can't stress this enough!

I have limited space for a novella/short novel or two during spring and early summer. Again, projects must be booked in advance.

Please note if you're looking to have anything MM written, I will squeeze you in during my free/personal writing time whenever I can. I will always stretch that little bit more for MM!

MorgMads, is there a website or other way to contact you for the future other than PM'ing you here? I've never needed a ghostwriter, but hey, never say never.

I'll PM you my email address for you to keep on file for future use.  :)

Thanks, Becca!

All right, guys, I'm mostly all booked up for the foreseeable future. I'll post here if a spot opens up, or when I'm actively taking clients again. Currently I can squeeze in a couple summer projects still, if anyone's looking to plan ahead. Otherwise, thanks to everyone who showed interest/booked their projects!  :)

Thanks, Alice.  :)

Turns out there are a fair few people here interested in hiring a ghostwriter. I'm feeling very positive about this place!

This is usually where Indies hang out because they enjoy writing. I doubt you'll get much business in this thread but there are advertising/promotion posts you can make in the provider directory.

Hey! I did wonder that, but it turns out I've had a ton of interest so far. The people here are awesome.  :)

I've been asked a couple times about contracts. So I'm just letting everyone know here that yes, I provide a full, standard ghostwriter contract, which includes all necessary clauses regarding confidentiality and performance. Of course, if you have your own contract you prefer working with, I'm happy to check it out.  :)

Writers' Cafe / Very experienced GHOSTWRITER for hire! Introductory rates!

Hi there! I started dabbling in ghostwriting about five years ago, and it quickly became one of my main gigs. I've now got a ton of books under my belt, and I'm opening up my schedule for new clients.

Rates (for now!):

$0.04/word if providing a full outline
$0.06/word if providing very brief outline/idea (one page/few plot bullet points)
$0.08/word if providing genre and general theme (e.g. "I need an M/F erotic romance about business rivals")

Samples: PM me

Genres: romance (erotic or sweet), YA/NA, women's fiction, and fantasy/paranormal are my specialties, but I can tackle almost anything. Just ask -- we'll see what we can do.

Turnaround: completely depends on my schedule, type of story, length, and whether you provide an outline. Typically 20k a week in a good, clear week.

I'm also a professional trade editor, so you will receive clean work.

PM me!

ETA: Just to add that the majority of my ghostwritten books have an average ~100 5* reviews on Amazon. My books sell!

Writers' Cafe / Proofreader/Editor - Introductory Rates!

I'm offering my editing services.  :)

I spent 12 years as an editor in trade publishing, followed by 4 years of freelance. I'm now back in the freelance game and looking to pick up some clients. I specialize in romance (sweet or erotic), young/new adult, contemporary lit, horror, and fantasy/paranormal.

I don't handle science fiction or historical, as I have very little experience in them. I couldn't take your money and pretend otherwise.

To start things, I'm offering some basic introductory rates. All rates are per Microsoft Word page, TNR 12pt, 1.5 spaced.

Proofread: $1/page
Line edit: $1.50/page
Comprehensive edit: $2/page

Proofread = a general read for typos, misplaced punctuation, awkward grammar/phrasing, etc.

Line edit = proofread + looking at grammar in more detail, sentence structure, word choice, flow, detail corrections (e.g. eye color), general readability, etc.

Comprehensive edit = proofread + line edit + looking at plot structure, plot holes, characterizations, themes, highlighting boring or stalled moments, and generally taking your book as a whole and ensuring it's the complete package for readers.

50% deposit required on any project above $50. I offer a 1-page free sample on proofread or line edit only. It's impossible to provide a comprehensive edit with a single page!

PM me! Thank you.  :D
