Writers' Cafe / Marketing the Third book in a series
« on: September 26, 2015, 09:30:18 AM »
Hi there,
I am getting ready to launch the third book in my Fantasy series and am curious as to what methods others have used to increase sales. I plan to put ads in at least three different venues, but am not sure how to get the best bang for the buck, so to speak. The first book, Descent, is permafree on Smashwords and I am trying to encourage Amazon to price match. I am willing to reduce the price for a period of time on the second book, Sacrifice, in honor of launching the third book, Illusion. Any suggestions on how to word the ads or which venues to contact for the best impact?
