Dragons of Wendal - Maria Schneider
« on: June 25, 2012, 10:45:46 am »
It's live on Amazon and all other venues:

Dragons of Wendal

Quote
Learning new magic isnt as easy as Zoe expected, especially when the mages at Gorgon University seem dead set against teaching. Add in some necessary late-night sneaking about, and Zoe is almost certain to be kicked out. As for exploring the intriguing mysteries across the border in Wendal, well, it has more teeth than she ever imagined.

Dragons of Wendal was inspired by the short story, Snitched, Snatched, which is still available in English and Spanish in one e-book. The English version is included in Dragons of Wendal as the prologue.

    Maria. . . . . .

Welcome to KindleBoards, and congratulations on the book!  :)

This is just a friendly reminder that KindleBoards is a Readers and Kindle Fan forum.  Authors are always welcome to post anywhere but, as you browse the 'boards, please keep in mind that self-promotion, of any sort, is ONLY allowed here in the Book Bazaar.

A brief recap of our rules follows: (Note that this doesn't mean you've done anything wrong; we just want you to have a ready reference, so post this note in every thread. :) )

--Please bookmark this thread (using your browser's bookmark/favorite function) so you can update it as we ask that authors have only one thread per book and add to it when there is more information.  You may start a separate thread for each book (or you may have one thread per series of books, or one thread for all of your books, it's your choice).

--We invite you to use your book cover as your avatar and have links to your book and website in your signature. Instructions are posted here

--While you may respond to member posts to your thread at any time, you may only bump your thread (back-to-back posts by you) once every seven days.  Once you've responded to a member, that resets the clock to zero and you must wait seven days to post, unless another member posts before then.

--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link.  Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.

--Although self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar, our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows.  This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles!  Please note that putting link information in the body of your posts outside the Book Bazaar constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post.  For information on more ways to promote here on KindleBoards, be sure to check out this thread:
    Authors: KindleBoards Tips & FAQ.

All this, and more, is included in our Forum Decorum.  Be sure to check it from time to time for the current guidelines and rules.

Thanks for being part of KindleBoards!  Feel free to send us a PM if you have any questions.

    Hi Ann (and Jeff)!

I was beginning to feel quite left out and aimless. Where to post??? But now I feel like one of the crowd.   ;D

Dragons of Wendal is up at most sites--and I'm also selling it via the blog this time around.  With one download, you get both the Kindle and the ePUB versions.  If anyone is looking for a different version, such as PDF, let me know.  I can add it to the bundles!

    http://www.bearmountainbooks.com/store/

I'll eventually add all my books to the online store.  Right now only the paranormal books and one short story are up.  Come on by and check it out.

(For those who ask, it doesn't matter to me where you purchase my books.  Please purchase wherever it is most convenient!  My blog provides an alternative and also provides the bundle feature because more and more people have two kinds of readers.)

Thanks for the welcome.  Glad to be here!

I grabbed an arbitrary post of mine...this one seemed appropriate since I'm sort of working on a sequel to Dragons of Wendal...

I recently wrote an article for Kobo books.  Stop my, leave a comment, say hello!

    http://kobowritinglife.com/2014/05/23/book-gems/

Realizing this is a kindle forum and perhaps no one is interested, I also had a guest blogger who posted about a very small Kobo e-reader on my blog:

It looks to be a nice music player and a good backup reader if you need a small one or don't have a Kindle and want a cheap one!

I'll be doing a storyboard post about the cover for the sequel of Dragons of Wendal next week on the blog...check Sunday!
