I had forgotten what it was like....
« on: October 31, 2008, 02:28:28 pm »
I've had my Kindle since August and I love it but, today I'm reading a dead tree book. There's a reason...I'm reading a series and this particular book, the fourth of the series, isn't available for Kindle. Since I've been reading exclusively on the Kindle for two months, there are a few things I'd forgotten...

I'd forgotten that holding a "real" book hurts the arthritic thumb on my left hand. I'd forgotten that it's difficult to eat a bowl of soup and drink a Diet Coke while reading a book with pages that have to be held open and turned by hand. I'd forgotten that I have to find my glasses before I can read because I can't just change the font size and I'd fogotten that I needed a bookmark when I put the book down.

This must be a really, really terrific series! I'm not sure I'd put up with the agony, especially the soup and Coke part! LOL
