Since I'm lazy and my Kindle is upstairs...does anyone know what location number chapter six starts at?

    Location 1937-40  :)

Thank you very much. You 're quick!

(Just so you know- this is Kindle shorthand for locations 1937, 1938, 1939 and 1940 all being on that screen) :)

I'm just sitting here at work with my Kindle on the desk. And I had just happened to read chp 1-5 over the weekend. :)

HERE! I have been working very hard at not starting too early. My plan for this evening is to totally ignore Husband and read.

I hope he does not get jealous of Jamie.

I'm glad we're taking it slow with this book--there's so much involved.

Mssladybug, it's my first book klub too!  Very cool!

So your Kindle arrived on time?  And your husbands?  You ordered a refurb for him, didn't you?  Do you Kindle together?

Gertie --  My apologies.  I mistakenly thought we were to discuss it during the "reading" week while we waited for the questions.  I'll keep quiet.

No apologies necessary.  We're all excited and rarin' to go.  That's why we moved it up a week.

I'm in!  I do not have a stick.

May the Force be with you, Gertie!

    ~robin

Thanks, Robin.  That's the kind of wishes I need.

Woohoo, no problem, Sherlock, we're all excited about starting!!!  And we're making this up a bit as we go along!  I've never been in any kind of book klub, let alone an online one!

I'm so glad I've done this before so I at least have a scintilla of an inkling of what I'm doing.

By my count we have 30 members so far  ;D  and I know there are others who haven't raised their hands yet.  It's not necessary to check in, but I thought it would be nice to know how many will be here.

For those of you who missed the first posts, I included a Splenda recipe so you can munch guilt-free while curling up with your faithful K.  Robin, that means you'll have to take the sweaters out of your oven ... or pick up a bag o' doughnuts.

What's a book club without refreshments?

Well, of course you have to know how many muffins to make, Gertie!

Wait ... didn't I hear you say that DORI was making the muffins?

Is that why we haven't seen you here yet, Dori?  You're busy mixing the batter?

Okay, I'm in for Outlander!  I was hoping that I would receive my Kindle earlier than the Feb/Mar ship date but no luck so far.  I guess I will have to go to the library or used bookstore so I can keep up with the discussion.  I may give it a couple more days just in case.  I am a fast reader so I should have the first five chapters read before the questions are announced.

Finished it last week, (just couldn't wait to start!)
Will start it again to watch for spoilers.

I'm in for this one!  As it happens this was the next book I wanted to read anyway!  My reading time is limited, so I may be ahead of the book as far as discussions go, but I won't spoil anything.  This is also my first book klub ever too!

    Hi everyone,

I just joined KindleBoards yesterday, just posted my Intro and should be getting my Kindle either tomorrow or Wednesday and would love to join the Book Klub for Outlander!

I read the series years ago and cannot wait to read again!

I look forward to getting to know everyone and to get everyone's take, etc. on the books in this series and the whole series!

I'm in and really looking forward to this starting.  This is my first book klub also.  I started the book, but haven't really gotten in to it yet, but I'm plunging forward since everyone is raving about how good it is.
