Spring Awakening
« on: December 31, 2008, 07:38:51 pm »
Has anyone seen the play Spring Awakening and been in the seats on stage?  My daughters and I are going to the show tomorrow night and sitting on stage.  I was wondering what it was like and what is best to wear.  They say no bright colors...so maybe jeans and a black shirt?

Don't know the show but my son's a college theater manager. . . .undergraduate work in tech theater.  They always had to wear all black when moving sets and stuff between scenes so black is probably a good choice.  And I have another young friend who has been in the 'pit band' for a performance. . .but the nature of the show was that they were actually on stage.  Again, they were told to wear black.  Be careful of sparkly jewelry too.

    Enjoy!

Sounds like loads of fun Spirit. I would go with jeans and black top...be comfy. Let us know how you like the show. I wanted to take DD to see Xanadu from the stage but unfortunately there was a minimum age requirement of 10 years old  :(
