I'm reading Game of Thrones.

I've watched all five seasons of Game of Thrones on HBO and recently started reading the first book. As I read up to a certain point in the book, I'll re-watch the corresponding episode in Season 1. I've found it's loads of fun to read and have well paid actors pop into your mind and speak dialogue they didn't in the show. For this same reason, I'm going to finally read Lord of the Rings. Years ago I read The Hobbit and didn't care much for it, so I never went any further.
In the book as in the show, the Imp and John Snow are my favorite characters.
Some of the scenes I imagine are so vivid I could have sworn they were in the series.
I'm likely going to stop at Clash of Kings, as it's going to be hard to bear the countdown to doom for the most Noble characters in book 3.
