Jeopardy clue with a KBoards tie
« on: November 01, 2016, 07:51:42 am »
So, I record Jeopardy and watch it the next day. Last night, in the category "BING", was this clue:

Greyhound Bus Lines, Roger Maris & Boby Dylan all got their start in this Minnesota City.

I knew the answer . . . . none of the contestants did.

;D

It's Hibbing -- where Betsy's family hails from . . . . .
My Kindles
Hermoine's Handbag (Voyage)
Ed's (Voyage Refurb)
Bedtime Reading (Oasis 9)
Godric's Hollow (Basic 7)
My Tardis (PW 10)

It helps that I have so many helpers working Hibbing into the conversations now.  Mom would be so pleased!

Watching Jeopardy makes me feel really dumb, but even I would have been able to answer that one. Because for some reason I keep hearing about it right here.  ;D

Okay, I'm dumb. I knew the answer to the Jeopardy question, but what does that city have to do with Kindles and/or KBoards?

If the answer is Hibbing, MN, then the question is "Where is Betsy the Quilter's mother from?"

     ;D

My late mom was very proud of her hometown and state, and I am contractually obligated to work Hibbing into as many conversations as possible.
