It's a miracle - my first ever Bookbub

After four years and 49 submissions, I've finally been accepted by the Bookbub gods :o Now I know what it feels like to win the lotto: shock, disbelief, then joy (and possibly a few tears as well). I honestly never thought I'd ever get to post a thread like this and have always been secretly jealous of those who have. I guess it just goes to show you should never give up. Keep trying and keep tweaking your covers until they meet their mark. If it could happen to me, it could happen to anyone ;)

I have C. Gockel to thank for this. She said in another thread that BB are loving 99c bundles right now, which spurred me to submit a deal for one of my bundles. It is the 7th time I've submitted it. Thanks for the prompt, C. Gockel. I think I kind of love you a little bit right now. (By the way, I've read your I Bring The Fire series and it is awesome!)

    Thanks to all :) I've decided to go all-in and am submitting to a bunch of other promo sites for just after the BB ad. It's going to cost a butt load, but hopefully it will be worth it. I'll be spending my entire year's ad budget in one week if they accept my submissions ;D

    Congrats! I know just how you feel  :P as I also just got accepted for a BB for a box set, my first 99-cent one. I think the fact that I've changed the cover and the fact that thrillers are hot right now are what made them accept it finally (after several previous attempts).

    Thanks for all the congrats - it's much appreciated! I have a bunch of promos lined up now (thanks to Ram's Promo Stacker - he rocks!) I'll be keeping a close eye on my ranking, but I'm in Australia, so I'll probably be asleep when the BB ad runs. That's if I can sleep at all due to excitement. I'll definitely update this thread if my ranking is stripped. Fingers crossed that the Amazon gods are benevolent and won't punish me for paying for a string of ads from completely legit sites.
