Amazon First Reads

Choices for April 2018 . . . . . the historical mystery set near the end of the war in Dresden, Germany looks good -- hope the translation is good!

A slightly different list again in the UK this month.

I'm leaning towards the suspense option Every Single secret (not on the US list) and The Air Raid Killer which Ann mentions.

I might wait till some reviews come in. Another thing to consider is that I can see from the 'Look Inside' feature that the the first part of Every Single Secret is in the present tense. *Shudders*  :o  It does change into the past tense, but if a significant portion of the book is going to be in the present tense I won't be able to read it.  :(

I love historical mysteries, but why oh why do all of them it seems have to be set in WWII, a period I won't read. Seems like whenever they do have a Historical selection, its usually set then. Sigh.

Oh well.

Yeah. . . . that's really become the thing lately, hasn't it. I think there were a couple that were successful and so a lot of folks jumped on the bandwagon.

Historical mysteries are some of my favorite genre books to read, I think that I'll pick one up on Amazon First Reads this month. Which one would y'all reccomend?

I just snagged this : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003JFJHOS?ref_=pe_3326960_278974660_pmwn_4.7_fctn_tpnw_pr_img1 if you are Prime it is free.  ;D   Looks really good - again a WWII thing but one of courage and survival it seems. Highly rated.   :D

So, thinking of either Bandwidth or An American Princess. Anyone got any reactions?
