Vellum, how to delete vellum files?
« on: July 01, 2018, 04:15:48 am »
Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have been impressed with all the info on Vellum book formatting software. It does look like it may be ideal for me. My problem is that I've been testing it with a book I've been writing, now finished... I now have three Vellum files of the book in various stages of completion, and I want to delete them all and replace them with the one, finished, file. I can see absolutely no way of doing this and can't find any Vellum support site. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Best regards.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the question, but I just drag my old files to the trash. I don't do anything special to delete them.

That seems logical to me -- delete them! But I don't use Mac OS.

You might get more answers in the so-called Official Vellum Thread. They are quite the fan club, and indeed Vellum is popular enough that Amazon has come up with Kindle Create in an effort to stem defections to Apple (or that's how I interpret the effort that's gone into that pointless bit of software).

Looks like you've found a solution but, in the future, you might also find the Vellum Help page useful: https://help.vellum.pub/
