Kindle Add-in no longer formats Chapter titles
« on: November 18, 2019, 07:29:21 am »
After successfully using the Kindle add in for my first book I opened the draft second book in Word and went through the Start process, Then when I went to set the first chapter title the program blinked and left it just like it was. No formatting change, no added spaces, nothing.

Are you talking about the Kindle Create add-on for Word?  I'd recommend against using that.  Far as I'm aware it's still in beta and last I checked it's really not ready for prime time.

The standalone Kindle Create app, however, is pretty good. And you can import into it from Word once you're ready to format.

Wonderful suggestion. I got the app and it is infinitely better than the Word add-in. Problem solved. Thanks
