Suggestions for using my Prime Borrow this month
« on: May 22, 2020, 11:41:24 am »
I'd like to use my Prime Borrow on a good SciFi or Fantasy Kindle Prime book, but I'm coming up empty. Too many Kindle offerings start with five pages of the (assumed) main character describing how the ribbing in their space suit uncomfortably rubs against the bottom of their navel, or some other nonsense, followed by another five pages of describing the space station platform upon which said rubbing is occurring. At which point I'm ready for another book.

Suggestions are welcome.

All my books are Prime eligible as well, though I don't think many people use their free borrows. Which is odd, really.

For a different kind of Science Fiction with no spacesuits, you might like Seattle Quake 9.2. It could happen.
Based on an actual event: The 1909 Dotsero Train Wreck https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084H4Z23C/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p6_i5

I have been a Prime member since it first became available, but as you point out, I seldom bother to use Prime for new books. Possible because I am also a Kindle Unlimited member.
