Wanted: Book Involving Exciting Manhunt
« on: August 09, 2020, 08:30:54 am »
I'm looking for some exciting books in which the police work to find the identity of a serial killer and then work to catch him (with a nationwide manhunt). True crime or fiction.

Thanks.

It's hard to do much better than Thomas Harris's RED DRAGON.

I like Ann Rule's true crime books.

On a little smaller scale there is a "Mindhunter" book by John Douglas. It is entirely devoted to different crimes and discovering who has committed the crime. There are several cases in the entire book but they are all thrilling. It is a non-fiction book as well. I can recommend it.
