Some great workshops offering agent feedback!
« on: October 15, 2020, 07:59:46 am »
Hi all,

The following two excellent workshops could be invaluable to you in your journey to getting an agent:

A real literary agent will look at and give personalized feedback on your first 25 pages and query letter, here:

And this one involves and editor reviewing and helping you hone your first 3 chapters which will then be presented to a literary agent:

Good luck on your writing journey, all!

Why would I click on two shortened links posted by a first-time visitor to the site?

If you want the longer versions of the links, I can provide them. It just tends to look a bit neater in shortened form.

Business must be slow for this particular agent selling titles to publishers.

There is a fee involved at the booking stage. Didn't get that far  to see how much to see what they are charging for a critique and edit of 25 pages, (3 chapters) together with the query letter, which would include the blurb. It's some sort of an award involved for the first three chapters and mention of extra services, which I assume will be charged for.

This agent also has their own publishing company based in London.

    This is sketchy.

No author should be paying a potential agent to review their work.

A good literary agent won't charge...if they like and sign you they get their 15%.
