Golden Age Detectives on Kindle
« on: June 22, 2011, 09:00:08 am »
A small publishing house has reprinted a number of Golden Age detective/crime novels (published between about 1920 through the early 1940s). They have about 50 of them also available in well-formatted Kindle editions. Authors include John Dickson Carr, Anthony Berkeley, Freeman Wills Crofts, Ellery Queen, Fredric Brown, and others. Prices are generally reasonable.

I've bought 8 or 9 of these so far and enjoyed them. I'd not read any Anthony Berkeley previously, I'll probably end up with all of these that they have. And of course I got all the Ellery Queen and JDC ebooks.

Give the listings a look: do an Amazon search for "Langtail Press Kindle".

If you go to www.ereaderiq.com you can put the publisher name into their advanced search and see all the books from that publisher: http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&node=154606011&p_15=Langtail%20Press&kc=AG56TWVU5XWC2&redirect=true
