Wait, 14? :o That's really delayed. And I was wondering why my stats were hardly moving. I wonder why they changed it. And I thought 2 days was long. :(

If the only thing that's stopping you is the Gmail interface, what I do is I have Zoho emails sent to my Gmail email account. I usually use the author gmail email for anything that isn't direct correspondence with someone. That way, I also have the advantage of not using Zoho storage data.

With Wordpress.org, they have a lot of awesome plugins.

I usually try to collapse the folder first if it gets tricky, or I drag on top of the Research folder to make sure it's not indented.

Definitely. Yesterday I went through so much old notes and files to find this one scene I was looking for that I wanted to use for my current WIP.

It made me realize I wrote so much stuff I don't even remember writing, and some of them aren't half bad. It's sort of the same with the fanfic I used to write, they were just plain spontaneous and random and imperfect. I kind of miss it. I love what I write now, but there was something so fun and pure about that kind of writing.

This happened to me a while ago too when I tried to do formatting in Scrivener. It was all screwed up and I ended up  buying Vellum for the single book instead. I wish I knew about D2D formatting back then.

Thanks for sharing. I got a timer thing on my Mac a while back too, but recently discovered Forest app, which helped me a whole lot too. It's a paid app though, but same idea with the 25 min sprints. I think it's the idea of getting into the mindset of just focusing on work? Not sure either, but it works.

I find character templates help a lot. It saves me from fiddling with formatting and keeps everything consistent. You pretty much just set a folder as a template folder, then make a new text file inside it as a template. Then when you long press the green + button you'll have the option to make a new file from the template you made.

I also like adding pictures of characters/places for corkboard mode. Makes it easier to visualise things in my head. Then also things like being able to change the icon of folders, like map for locations, then character heads for characters. Small things, but I appreciate them. :)

Combine the two tips and you get a novel once every five weeks. In theory!  ;)

I like contemporary romance too. I read mostly romantic comedies, but I'd read PNR or Romantic suspense too if the mood strikes. But I usually prefer something light and fun, and I love a good HEA.

Obviously they could search your name on Amazon or stumble across it. But their timing would have to be pretty good. So to get the discount, they'd really need to be on the list - otherwise they'd risk missing out.

Hope that makes sense. The downside is that you lock yourself into launching at $0.99, at least for 24 hours.
