$20 Amazon Gift card for $10 through this living social link

Enjoy !

I am driving a friend to a out of town appt. that may take a couple of hours and I highly doubt wifi will be available there,so I thought I would get a movie to watch while waiting.I would download it tonight to my iPad so I have it for tomorrow.

I am thinking of renting a movie from iTunes, something I have never done before. So I was wondering if when you rent a movie vs buy it does it get automatically removed from my iPad when I have watched it? Or do I have to remove it?

I really don't want it taking up any of my memory once the rental is watched.

For those who are maybe less than happy with the touch keyboard on the iPad and/or considering buying a wireless keyboard.

This might be something to check out 1st??

ooops forgot the link

Some people still think they need to own a Kindle in order to participate in this forum.
Sad but true.
I have told a couple of people that they are still welcome here even if they don't own a Kindle.
Whether they are thinking about a Kindle or simply read Amazon Kindles books on another device.
At least that is  my understanding?

Hopefully people will read this and know they can chime in and join us even if they don't have a Kindle. :)

I received a couple of private messages asking me if I would post pictures of the Kindle DX & iPad so that the difference in size could be seen.

Hope this helps. :)

While the majority of pundits on the web seem to be predicting that the iPad will be released in the UK on Saturday April 24th, CNET UKs Crave gadget blog is reporting that the release date could well be Monday, April 26th. According to Crave, CNET UK has received information that a particular publishers app team has been told to have their app ready for the 26th. Crave seems pretty certain about it too, even urging their readers to book that day off!

Apple, of course, declined to comment on either the release date or when they would actually be releasing the release date, which is really going overboard on the secrecy!

Its getting so close to the end of April now that Im starting to wonder if Apple wont just release it suddenly as a surprise without telling anyone, kind of like they do with big apps in the app store sometimes. Put it on the UK shelves and websites and see if anyone notices!

By Maura Sutton,

Could this mean that the 3g might ship around then as well?

Not Quite Kindle / Overdrive library e books
« on: March 16, 2010, 10:37:13 pm »
I checked and our local/regional library does not offer Overdrive at all.
There are however 2 libraries in the state that do.
I was wondering if anyone knows .. do you have to be a "physical" patron at a library in order to get a library card ,and thus to get e books??

Anyone have a library membership to a library in your state that you have never actually been to other than online?
