I don't think mine has been off since July.. no reason for it to be.. just make sure the whispernet is off however or that will drain the battery

LOL Leslie

Guilty as charged.. I do remember abou 300 Kolors we had come up with including the sub catagories.. we need to find that list again.. it was good too..

Linda.. I appreciate that,, but what scares me is the covers are now starting to cost more then the Kindle combined.. that can't be good.. and EVERY bag I buy has to be Kindleworthy.. I think I may need a 12 step program soon

I did do that.. NADA.. it does not seem to want to access it.. no luck at all trying to get it to work.. but thanks for the tip anyway :)

I hate you guys, you are bad influences (though I still want a metallic!!) ... I just ordered the Marble blue.. that makes five of the strangdog covers.. three Medge (NOT including this one) , which would be four when it arrives... and an Oberon as soon as they come out...Oh and that zip thing Medge has you can see through..
and the hard drive case to store it all...

I agree.. with the oprah effect, I find myself getting annoyed at people who want to blame amazon for not replacing the Kindle when they drop it and break it.. and complain about the customer service issue when its not done.

The ones that don't want the kids to read porn but somehow thats amazons fault.. and I had a woman email me wanting to put her  sewing patterns on the kindle and was not happy when they couldn't be printed out.  People are unrealistic about this device.. watch the video, read the board, its what we did.. I didnt have all the answers but do some research its all there... so though I have not been totally snippy yet I admit I did go off on the woman who hates customer service for not replacing her kindle for free (I was not the only one) OH and that person who kept asking about radiation... PLEASE

LOL don't be so sure.. Kindle can kill as well

My story is very similar, but with the kindle.... It was when I first got mine I was using that horrid cover it came with.. I was lying on my back reading with it above my face.. and the cat came up and jolted the kindle.. which in turn fell out of said horrid cover and smacked me on the head.. needless to say that was the day Medge got its first order from me.. after the swelling went down that is :)

I admit I would trade all of this for some DECENT FOLDERS! :)  I have stopped downloading much anymore.. I have 36 pages of various.. well ...stuff

I have used both and neither works, even the mobile version.. it did for a while and now its a nightmare. I have offically given up on every seeing my Gmail on the kindle anymore..

He told me they were using six of the most popular designs.. He did say he though tree of life was one of them but was not sure.. and they were photographing when I called.. they should be up Monday or Tuesday at the latest.  They are also using a peweter button and elastic band for closures.. inside is felt and he assured me that they would have plenty of photos of the inside and there is also a pad on the right side for the screen as well

Kindle Accessories / Oberon with CORNERS.. yes you read it right

Just thought I would update everyone.. I called Oberon again, they are in the process of taking photos of the new designs as we speak, they are even doing a video for the website to show the features.  They are doing about six covers, they are custom ordered so they do take a few days.  I was initially told they would start at about 100.00 , but the nice guy I talked to said he believed it could start as low as 75 or so, AGAIN THIS IS A GUESS.

The photos should be on the site around Monday or Tuesday of next week and for sale shortly after that.. anyway this is the news.. enjoy!

I am meeting a woman thursday who jumped on the Kindle band wagon via Oprah.. I am also getting a ton of emails from people on the "see the kindle in your city" one wanted to know if she could download and print her knitting patterns on it.. I had to tell her it was not the way it worked.

I get stopped alot and people don't always get the concept.. I just wish I had folders.. I hate turning over the kindle to someone and they can see everything on that page... I dont have things to hide per say but do I really want to turn it over to a client I am trying to convince to hire me to do is Public Relations and he sees I am reading "marcia brady's biography"... you get the point.. LOL

I spoke to them a few days ago (yes an actual live person who runs the company)

I was told the designs should be up the first week of Nov at the latest and for sale around the second week of Nov.. there is more then one design but he did not elaborate.. I was also told the covers would go for around 100.00.. again that is ball park, it is my understanding that there will be a few.

When I see it I will be glad to give you all a shout out :)
