As my own publicist, I should not only be fired, but probably sued for malpractice.

I'll add to the comments - I used it, and it was an absolute waste of money.  I don't think I could attribute a single sale to it.  May as well have withdrawn the cash from the bank and set it on fire.

My Dream Series books are first person present - I had different narrators over the course of the series, and i was (mostly) very pleased with how the books came out.  I've got samples up on Soundcloud:

Over the course of a few days...

Person buys first book in a series. (presumably) Reads it. Leaves a negative review. Returns it. Buys next book in the series. (presumably) Reads it. Leaves a negative review. Returns it. Buys next book in the series...

Lather, rinse, repeat.

I had the same thing happen, although without the negative reviews.  Over the course of a few days, there were returns on all the books in my 10 book series - one return on each book, in series order, each return 12-24 hours apart.  It had to be the same person, reading each one and returning it.

I know there's piracy, and there's little to nothing we can do about it, and usually I don't even think about it.  But that's so obnoxious and blatant, they might as well break into my house and steal the print copies off of my shelf, one at a time.  It's like rubbing my nose in it, just because they can, and it drives me nuts.

If I had a button to launch a drone strike on that person's house, I would do it without a second thought.

Peace is a Lie: Using the Sith Code to Achieve Your True Potential

It's a self-help book. :P

I would totally buy that!

Of course, it's a pretty short book, since every hypothetical workplace situation in the book would have the same solution
