1,000 Sales -- A Thank You

Well guys, as of this morning I've hit the 1,000 sales mark. When I started out my goal was to sell 100, and I never imagined hitting this number. This isn't a post to simply "brag" about a number, but instead a post to thank the board. I've picked up a lot of great advice, feedback, and tips and tricks from a lot of you over the past few months--both directly and indirectly--and I know without a doubt that these things have helped tremendously with my book selling 1,000. This is great community, and I still can't get over how much everybody is so willing to help everybody else in achieving the same goals and dreams.

Great news Michael, I hope you have many more. Has having the second book uploaded helped your sales at all do you think?

The second book has only be up a little over a week, so it's really too early to tell. But sales are definitely stronger for it (the second book) by a long shot in the first week, compared to Regret's first week.

That's great. I have a similar goal of selling 200 (that's the amount I need to break even on cover art and formatting costs). Knowing you hit 1,000 brings me hope that I can get there, too.

Congratulations great job. Yes the kindle board family is great. I am also fairly new here and everyone toke there time welcoming me and they are very helpful with all your questions. What a awesome group of people.

Fantastic Robert!
I remember you and I spoke in March/April and we talked about price points and how I made the switch to $.99.. I think you had 1 sale 1/3rd of the way through the month @ $1.99 and then dropped it to $.99 and had like 12 the first day! Glad things have taken off for you.

Also, it may help those that need inspiration if you could breakdown 2011 by month and show the tremendous increase in sales.
