I happened to be skimming the Kindle best seller list and noticed Stephen King's "11/22/63" is priced at $3.99, the regular Kindle price is like $17 (which is what I paid a couple months ago...grrrr:'( ), so if you haven't already read it and plan to this would be the perfect time to purchase it.

I would just like to throw in my two cents that King's novel is excellent.  One of his best in recent years.

I thought it was excellent too! I plan to purchase the hard back copy to have as a collectors item

$17 for an ebook??? That's either a great joke at which to laugh hysterically or a tragedy at which to sob.

A collector's item of any current hardback book, especially one printed in insanely huge numbers like a Stephen King? Is that possible? I wonder if even a first edition will do much unless maybe it's signed.

I've paid $17+ for several ebooks and consider that I got good deal. Two of them required a great deal of research over many years to produce, and one of those had several hundred graphs, illustration, etc. I thought the price was worth it.
