Awww, what a cutie! I'd read one of her books any day.  :-*
You have to give cat authors credit, though.  They may be judgmental, but they can be very prolific.  I once left my computer to go make a cup of tea.  When I came back, my cat had erased six pages of my writing and replaced it with FIFTEEN HUNDRED PAGES of her own (mostly hyphens).

I'm guessing thousands of hyphens in a row is how you spell a purr.  :D

This is why I have a dog instead of a cat.  ;D

Chewy is actually very supportive of my writing. He sits directly behind my chair and won't move...which means I can't move until he does without rolling the chair over him. It's how he keeps me working, I think.
I swear, as soon as one of the 3 cats see me with my laptop, they send out some kind of signal to each other and presto-they are all right there on my lap or laying across the desk & keyboard.
Julie- I have to admit I miss our beagle.  When he felt the cats where getting in my way, he would chase them out of the room and then curl up at my feet while I wrote.
Ha!
This is me literally having to type over a baby permanently on my lap
She is adorable.
Super cute posts. :) I get jealous when I see others tweet pics with their cats reading or posed next to their books. I'm allergic and willing to take allergy meds, but my husband's also allergic...and not so willing. We have a pet snake. She's pretty, I guess, but not the kind of cuddly I'm looking for.

And such a fine head of hair for one so young!
Exactly what I thought about your cat ;)

;D ;D ;D I've saved your comment to evernote for posterity - I love the idea of a cat's purrs being page after page of hyphens!

Thanks, I'll tell Echo that someone appreciates her epic saga "The Purr." (I'm afraid I didn't appreciate it quite as much when I read it!) ;D
Ever had a feeling of being stared at?
Lowered my laptop to find someone wanting a bit of my attention.

That is hilarious, I am sure that will find its way into a book somewhere, somehow.

Lily just COMPLETELY freaked out at seeing a cat with such similar markings to her on the computer screen.

She then promptly fell asleep.

Ah, cats.
Yeah, they're nutty.

Uh-oh. Cats are all grown but baby will get bigger and bigger. Such a cutie-pie, though.
