A big Le Brag: Hunchback Assignments wins French Award

I am extremely pleased that it was announced yesterday that The Hunchback Assignments won Le Grand prix de l'Imaginaire in France. I blogged about it here:
But basically it's one of the highest awards for fantastical fiction given out in France. And my book was up against Neil Gaiman, Scott Westerfeld and...well several other heavyweights. So I feel extremely lucky. And all I want to do now is drink French wine for the rest of the day.

Wonderful news, Arthur!  Congratulations.  That's a terrific feather in your cap career-wise.

Thanks! I WAS disappointed of course that the plan to send me to France fell through (having never been there). But hey...I got more work done...
