It's as though when the car was in development, the designers were like, how big should we make the trunk? And they convened a focus group of freaky circus clowns, house painters, and cult leaders, and the overwhelming consensus was, "victim-sized."

This is what Ford came up with while they were trying to shake that whole "fugitive on the run" thing with their Broncos.

Hahahaha. It's like when Toyota got dinged because everyone thought their cars had a tendency to accelerate for no reason and without warning, causing deadly accidents, and their new slogan for the big PR rebound campaign was "Moving forward."

My favorite comment at the time: literally any other two words in the English language would have been better.

When my kids were in elementary school, there was a Halloween tradition of 'trunk or treating' where parents would decorate their cars with a Halloween theme and pass out candy to the kids in the parking lot at school (h-m-m...just realized how creepy that sounds...)

Anyway, your picture is a whole new take on candy in the trunk.
