A question about changing prices...

I lowered my price from $2.99 to $0.99 and the first two days I had 9 sales (with no promotion).  I thought this was great!  But then I started promoting the price change and I have about the same amount of sales as I did the first two days.  I found this very odd.

Did you notice a dramatic increase in sales following a change in price?  Or did sales slowly pick up?

I went from $3.99 US regular price to $2.99 US sale price for the month of June.

My sales have actually dropped.  I decided in advance that I'd keep the price change for the entire month.  Otherwise, I would've changed it back already.
