Hi all,

Just today my Alphasmart (which I looooove) has been telling me my files are full after very low word counts. Like, under 100.

There are no other files stuffed with content.

Has anyone had this issue before and what can I do about it?

Cheers

I've never heard of any troubles like that with any of the Alphasmarts.

If you find out what's going on, please let us fellow users know.

Thanks Alyson,

I loaded up my Alphasmart Manager software onto my laptop and connected the Neo via USB.

Using the software I was able to  remove all the educational applets that were taking up space.

Got the memory down to 11%!

So far, so good.

Seems quite a few issues can be cleared up by changing settings through AS Manager.

Oh, nice. If I had seen this earlier I would have suggested installing the software. I remember removing almost all the useless apps a long time ago. Was also going to suggest checking to see if there were additional text files possibly clogging up the works, but sounds like you got it worked out. Write on!
