If that's all it takes, then there are lots of people trying to take over the web. The battle for control of those suffixes has been going on for a while.

I have seen at least a dozen people now say that Amazon is trying to take over the web. It's just more Amazon is Evil propaganda though, isn't it?

Otherwise wouldn't they be more concerned that the world's largest search engine company and maker of Android and Chrome, Google, is trying to be over a dozen more suffixes than Amazon?

I was just about to say that I'd be far more worried about Google trying to take over the internet.
