Is it just me, or did that whole Canadian Amazon store never pick up?

It never picked up. I think Canadians stayed in the .com store and never moved to the new store.

Canadians don't read ebooks, because the screens crack at -40. Also, we are too busy mushing our dog sled teams.

You'd think with the NHL lockout they'd actually want something to do.
My Canada sales on book 1 are pretty much neck and neck with USA right now.
Is Amazon ever going to do some obvious housekeeping, like combining all the continental European stores into one store, splitting off India into it's own store, etc? It's kind of unwieldly right now.
I just double checked - I had been running neck and neck. Canada is now about 2/3rds what the US is.

Who knows on the housekeeping. To be honest, every time the fiddle we go into crash and burn with yellow bars and no/slow reporting, so I'm good, thanks ;)

I'm based in Canada ( but I'm from England )

I noticed that Amazon never really filled it with the same products as they did on the Amazon one

I notice now though they are pushing people to go over to .ca if you are on amazon.com and you go to buy a kindle book there is a notice about getting it from amazon.ca
I know Sara Reine has a box set in the Top 100 in Canada right now. It was as high as #25 (it also hit #71, I think it was, in the US store not long ago).

We have a box set currently at #37 in the CA Top 100. It's sold 82 units in CA since Jan 1. :D
That same box set is at #85 on the US side. It's sold 9655 units on .com since Jan 1.

Canada has a bit of catching up to do ;).
