I've been traditionally published and epublished, and just for fun (well, for money too, lol) I also write and sell greeting-card copy. I love writing for YAs, because that is such an intense time of life.

Great to meet you, Ann!  Welcome to the Kindle boards.

BTW:  Your last name, Herrick, is one that is common in my geneology . . . any chance your ancestors are from Salem/Beverly, Massachusetts?

Intense, yes. And how absolutely marvelous that so many have discovered reading for pleasure...or escape...but they're READING! 's wunnerful.

Hi, Sarah! Herrick is my married name, but I know that my husband's uncle did a lot of family research and indeed their ancestors are from the Salem area. His uncle went to a cemetery there to do research and found several family connections there.

Everyone, thank you for the kind welcomes!
