I'd like to let everyone know I've partnered with the main branch of the local library to host a Christian Authors Festival in Virginia Beach on Saturday, June 13 from 1-4 pm.  This festival is open to local authors in the Hampton Roads area ( i.e. Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Chesapeake/Newport News/Suffolk) who either write Christian material or are Christians who write clean, value based literature (not necessarily about God).  If you are a local author and interested in participating in this free event, please send me a message with your email and I can give you more information.

I'd also like to add there will be a Basket of Books giveaway where the general public can enter for a chance to win a Basket of Books by signing up to be on the email notification list for next year's festival.  The books are from authors who want to donate a copy to the basket for the exposure benefit (the basket, decoratively filled with the books, will be sitting next to the sign-up sheet along with a posted list of the contents in the basket.).  The basket and sign-up sheet will be sitting at the entrance to the festival where everyone who attends will have to walk past.  If you are an author of clean, value based material and would like to participate in the gift basket giveaway by donating a physical copy of your book, you can also contact me to send a book even if you are not attending the festival.
