This sounds like a good idea but I can't find it. Where is it?

No, but honestly don't think LinkedlIn is all that useful for artistic endeavors. Maybe if you're trying to get into a creative writing program or something. I know there are agents, editors etc on there but I don't really go looking for them on LinkedIn.Accord64 said:I was updating my LinkedIn profile and noticed the "Publications" section. Has anyone added their books in this? If so, what did you put under Publication/Publisher? What link did you put in your publication URL (can you use an Amazon link)?
I've had a profile there for years and I still don't know what it's for. I dutifully update it, however, each time I change jobs. Just in case.Cherise Kelley said:Has anyone determined what use LinkedIn is?

The best use if LinkedIn is to join some groups related to your interest and post on their forums.Cherise Kelley said:Has anyone determined what use LinkedIn is?
I've wondered the same since I set up an account. However, I've also noticed that almost everyone I know (or worked with over the years) seems to be on it - many more than have Facebook accounts. Most also seem to be active too, always linking with others or updating their profiles. So that means that there's a lot of active eyeballs on LinkedIn, so I figure I'd keep it updated.Cherise Kelley said:Has anyone determined what use LinkedIn is?
When you edit your profile, look to the right and you'll see a "Recommended for You" column. Under it, there's a "Publications" button. This sounds like a good idea but I can't find it. Where is it?
