Dear Kindle Customer,
Amazon is scheduling interviews with a select group of Kindle users to obtain feedback about their Kindle reading experience. As a valued Kindle customer, we would like to offer you the chance to possibly participate in this study.

Those who are selected to be interviewed will receive a $125 honorarium for 2 hours of participation. Please be assured that this project is strictly for market research purposes and does not involve any type of sales or promotions as a result of replying to this email or participating in the research. All feedback/information obtained from those who participate will be held in strict confidence.

If you wish to be considered for participation, please respond as soon as possible, as the number of interviews we are scheduling is limited.

--Your full name

--A convenient telephone number where we can reach you

--Best time to call you

A research specialist from Adept Consumer Testing, a local research firm, will contact you to ask a few questions regarding your Kindle usage, demographic questions about yourself, and then to possibly schedule you for one of the interview times.

Sincerely,

- The Amazon Kindle Team

It seems no one has received an email from them. I hope someone says they have been picked to see if its real. But its good that they are doing it for marketing and improvement (I hope).

I think if someone from Amazon just took a week to read many of the threads on Kindleboards they would learn a lot.

Quite so! Has anyone ever pointed that out to them?
