Question for some of you more knowledgeable than I: What options do indie authors have for audio books besides buying microphones and soundproofing a closet? Thanks.

What Anne said. If you go to the ACX website, you can search there for a narrator in your price range. You can even listen to their samples and see how you like their voices.
