Since I am published now, Amazon wants me to provide some information about me.

If you are this book's author, you're eligible to participate in Amazon's Author Central program. You can use Author Central to increase your sales potential on Amazon.com by sharing the most up-to-date information about yourself and your work with your readers.

I am leaning more toward keeping it simple and on the short side. Maybe something like a picture of me by one of my ponds instead of a closeup. I think I am going to have to give it some thought.

So how did you decide what to tell people about yourself?

I said the basics: how long I've been writing, my website, and a little personal info (four kids, two dogs, no time to write!).  Also, the picture I used features me with one of my dogs, because they're both better looking than I am. ;D

Also, don't forget to set up your Author Central page to list your books, and if you blog, you can use the feed to put up your most recent posts (Twitter, too).

I kept mine professional, copied the bio off my blog. You never know who's out there looking at you. ;)
