Today, we're pleased to introduce you to author Dave Adams, writer of the epic fantasy series, Soul Sphere.Dave Adams wrote the first paragraph of his two-part fantasy over fifteen years ago. It was just a couple of lines that sparked his own interest, a few sentences that began a tale that even he had no idea where it would go.
That paragraph sat quietly in a drawer for nearly a decade, until a pause between jobs created an opportunity for him to begin to write the story he always wanted to tell.
Fortunately a job soon came along, but by then the growing story couldn't be easily set aside again. What grew from that original paragraph became The Soul Sphere Book 1: The Shattered Sphere, and the Soul Sphere Book 2: The Final Shard.
The Soul Sphere is the story of a world, Arkania, beset by evil, and on the unlikely band that forms to try to overcome it: Demetrius and Corson, long-time friends from Corindor; Rowan, a paladin from Delving; Tala, an elf from the Eastern Forest; the goblin Lucien; and Alexis, a warrior from the northern land of Lorgras.
Dave lives in Central Pennsylvania with his wife, daughter, and son. He has had over twenty short stories published in various magazines and collections, mainly in the genres of fantasy, science fiction, and horror, as well as a novella.
When he isn't writing, Dave enjoys reading (Civil War is a particular interest, and he's working through all of Charles Dickens' novels), crossword puzzles, and hockey (watching the real thing on TV or playing street hockey with family and friends).
