I had a copy of Moby Dick on the Kindle from the project Gutenberg site (www.freekindlebooks.org, I think). Last night, I turned the page and saw some weird looking characters (almost like several lines of text had tried to write at once). It locked up the Kindle so that I could not open any book from the menu. I could scroll and everything, but I got an error message when I tried to open one. I did a reset (alt+shift+R), and I could open other books again. I tried Moby Dick, and it froze again. I did another reset, and just deleted Moby Dick. The others are still working fine from what I can tell. I guess it was a bad file or something. It was strange.

Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Sometimes a download will be corrupted. I had the same thing happen with a free book. I deleted it, re-downloaded it, and had no further problems. It happens.
